Compensation: Annual Salary of $70,304- $74,000

Classification: Full Time, Salary- Exempt

Position Summary:   The ONT Field is a breath-taking venue managed by Legends Global, one of the world’s largest property management companies is seeking a Housekeeping Manager.  The Housekeeping Manager works alongside all Housekeeping Attendants to ensure the cleanliness of the ONT Field.

Essential Functions:

·         Oversee a dedicated housekeeping team to ensure the comfort and safety of guests, while helping meet and exceed business goals.

·         Create an environment that is safe and engaging.

·         Lead a diverse team by modeling the way, by empowering, and coaching throughout the employment lifecycle.

·         Ensure financial goals are met through budget development and oversight.

·         Protect the brand and assets by ensuring that programs are smoothly implemented and compliant.

·         Schedules staff appropriately according to event requirements.

·         Maintains appropriate inventory of supplies and meets with vendors to evaluate their product.

·         Tours the facility to ensure cleanliness.

·         Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience/Training/Education:

Required:

·         High School Diploma or GED.

·         Three or more years’ housekeeping management experience.

·         One to two years supervisory experience.

·         2 or more years' Venue Events Experience (i.e., Arena, Stadium, Convention Center etc.)

·         Bilingual in Spanish is desirable.

License/Certificate:

Valid California Driver’s License.

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

·         Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency is required.

·         Basic staffing requirements and scheduling.

·         Basic cleaning practices and standards

·         Various cleaning techniques (floors, windows, restrooms, etc.) and timing standards for said techniques.

·         Cleaning chemicals.

Ability to:

·         Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

·         Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees, peers, and the public.

·         Be detail oriented.

·         Be organized to plan coverage around events.

·         Endure heights.

·         Implement appropriate staff training and ensure compliance.

Skill to:

·         Operate modern office equipment, including computer, fax, phone, and copy machine.

·         Operate a motor vehicle.

·         Operate radio devices.

·         Operate housekeeping equipment, scrubbers (riding or walk behind), extractors, vacuums, etc.)

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 25 lbs. Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday. This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later. Must be able to pass the background.
