We are seeking an Account Manager to manage and grow a high-profile portfolio of customers throughout downtown San Francisco. This role combines relationship management, consultative selling, and customer success, giving you the opportunity to drive revenue growth while delivering an exceptional customer experience across one of the most dynamic territories in the country. You'll work closely with customers, field teams, and business partners while developing your sales and account management career in one of our largest branches.

On a typical day you will

- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial customers
- Provide updates on repairs, service activity, equipment status, and customer requests
- Coordinate work with customers, building teams, and third-party vendors
- Support billing inquiries, invoice corrections, and account-related questions
- Conduct regular customer meetings both virtually and in person
- Identify opportunities for equipment improvements, modernization, and service enhancements
- Build long-term relationships that drive customer satisfaction and retention
- Balance multiple priorities while responding quickly to changing customer needs and business demands

Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts across the downtown San Francisco territory
- Develop account strategies that support customer retention and revenue growth
- Partner with internal teams to help deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Support revenue growth by identifying and discussing relevant upgrade opportunities
- Maintain accurate customer information and activity within CRM systems
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Organize meetings, follow-ups, and account plans to ensure customer success
- Help customers understand technical recommendations in a clear and consultative manner

What you will need to be successful

- 3 to 4+ years of sales and account management experience in a technical, industrial, machinery, equipment, or service-based industry
- Experience selling service agreements, maintenance contracts, technical services, machinery, equipment, or other consultative solutions
- Elevator industry experience is welcomed but not required if you bring relevant experience from a comparable industry
- Proven ability to manage and grow customer portfolios while identifying new business opportunities
- Track record of building strong, long-term relationships with commercial customers
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate service, repair, or equipment solutions
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Ability to learn technical concepts and communicate recommendations clearly to customers
- Adaptability, sound judgment, resilience, and a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced customer-focused environment

Salary Transparency:

The salary range for this role is  $63,000-$90,000 plus a generous sales incentive program. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
