Purpose and Scope:
Manage Customer Response Center and Launch Readiness Section. Approve and release contract work schedules with branch supervisor's approval. Work with branch supervisors to produce work schedules and resource allocations. Report directly to Deputy Program Manager. Perform duties in compliance with Federal, State, local, laws and regulations and requirements. Perform duties in compliance with security safety, hurricane and other specialized programs or contractual requirements relating to the business of the section, working within the limits of established policy.
Must be able to respond to international emergency requirements twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week (24/7), three hundred and sixty-five (365) days per year. Must be available to travel to austere environments worldwide approximately four times per year.
Essential Responsibilities:
Ensure mission support/launch readiness.~Direct centralized planning, scheduling, and estimating and work control functions.~Coordinate with Government and division managers to develop/maintain metrics for each performance standard.~Provide customer notification for work status.~Implement information technology security plan.~Produce trend and other analyses to identify areas for performance improvement.~Commit the project to a response commensurate with work request priority.~Enforce work rules.~
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience based on four (4) years for each year of college, in engineering, management, or related field, or ten to twelve (10-12) years equivalent training and work experience, or MS degree and six to ten (6-10) years equivalent training and work experience, or Ph.D., and four to six (4-6) years specialized training and work experience. Must have good communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:
Most positions involve work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines. Some positions involve work in environments (e.g., shipboard, labs, outside locations, etc.) where mechanical equipment, etc. is installed, tested, analyzed/monitored, operated, and/or maintained. Equipment may be loud and noisy or have exposed moving components. Such positions may involve routine lifting up to 50 pounds, regular handling, grasping, kneeling and carrying, and constant use of vision and mental alertness is required. This classification may include managing hazardous materials or other environmental responsibilities.

Compensation Details:
$20,000-$200,000
