Production project manager

As our project volume grows, we're creating a new role within our Production team - Production Project Manager .
We're looking for someone who can take ownership of production projects from producer nomination through final shipment — keeping partners, schedules, quality, materials and commercial details aligned along the way.
This isn't a role where you identify a problem, update a tracker and pass it to someone else.
We want you to see it coming, take ownership and drive it to resolution.

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

- You'll be responsible for project execution across an assigned portfolio of 2–3 external production partners, becoming their key day-to-day DEXTALL contact.
- You'll lead the producer relationship throughout all project execution.
- During project ramp-up, you'll actively look for drawing errors, supply-chain risks, quality concerns and misalignment before they affect production.
- You'll coordinate the right people and make sure the issue actually gets resolved rather than simply escalated.
- You'll be the standing point of contact connecting external producers with DEXTALL's Project Management, Design, Quality, and Purchasing teams.
- You'll also manage the production impact of client-driven project changes and make sure everyone understands what those changes mean for schedule and scope.
- You'll feel comfortable addressing missed commitments, quality issues and changing priorities professionally and constructively.
- You'll maintain a clear picture of producer performance, including OTD, project issue history, producer performance ratings, production milestones, completed scope, invoice accuracy.
- Your role will become increasingly structured, data-driven and efficient as our production network grows.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

- 3+ years of experience coordinating external manufacturers, vendors or subcontractors in a B2B, industrial, construction or manufacturing environment.
- Experience taking genuine ownership of delivery outcomes — solving schedule, quality or supply problems rather than only reporting them.
- Strong spoken and written Lithuanian and English languanges, and confidence running meetings with external partners.
- A structured problem-solving mindset and familiarity with approaches such as 5-Why, 8D or similar root-cause methods.
- Basic financial literacy — you can review an invoice, compare it with completed scope or a packing list and identify discrepancies.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence learning new project tracking and reporting tools.
- The ability to work independently and proactively without waiting for someone to tell you what needs attention.
- Willingness to travel regularly to production partners, including longer stays during critical project kickoffs.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for local travel.

Nice to have:

- Experience in façades, curtain walls, prefabrication or building-envelope manufacturing would be highly valuable.
- Experience with quality management systems, QC checklists, NCR/CAPA processes, workflow automation or no-code/low-code tools.
- An additional European language relevant to our production network would also be an advantage.
