The Opportunity

As an Indirect Tax Operations - Senior Associate, you will assist clients in developing tax reporting strategies and maintaining compliance with tax regulations. Within our Tax practice, you will analyze financial data, interpret tax laws, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements, aiming to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses. As a Senior Associate, you will focus on building meaningful client connections and learning how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing increased ambiguity.

In this role, you will use a broad range of tools and methodologies to generate new ideas and solve problems. You will develop a deeper understanding of the business context and how it is changing, using reflection to enhance strengths and address development areas. Upholding professional and technical standards, you will interpret data to inform insights and recommendations, contributing to the firm's overall business strategies. Responsibilities

- Analyzing financial data to interpret tax laws and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements
- Developing tax reporting strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize risks for businesses
- Collaborating with clients to navigate complex tax regulations and maintain compliance
- Preparing and reviewing tax documents to validate accuracy and adherence to regulations
- Utilizing analytical thinking to break down complex tax concepts and generate insights
- Applying tax accounting and auditing skills to support tax compliance and consulting efforts
- Engaging in tax research to inform recommendations and strategic planning
- Upholding professional and technical standards in line with PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Building meaningful client connections and managing relationships to anticipate needs and deliver quality service
- Embracing change and leveraging digital tooling to enhance tax services and reporting strategies

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 2 years of experience
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment (Member of the Bar or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity).

Job Posting End Date

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $214,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
