Job Summary

Kunes Auto & RV Group is seeking a skilled RV Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain motorhomes and travel trailers. In this role, you'll work hands-on with RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance, and structural systems—helping customers stay road-ready and enjoy their outdoor lifestyle.

Sign-On Bonus

- $3,000 Sign-On Bonus available for experienced technicians
- Applies to candidates with 3+ years of RV experience OR related trades such as automotive, construction, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing

Responsibilities

- System Diagnostics – Diagnose and repair RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, and structural components
- Inspections & Maintenance – Perform inspections, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance
- Communication – Communicate repair needs and timelines with service advisors
- Estimates & Documentation – Provide accurate labor estimates and document completed work
- Quality & Efficiency – Maintain efficiency and quality standards to minimize customer downtime

Requirements

Required:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
- Willingness to learn RV systems (training provided)

Preferred:

- Experience in RV, automotive, diesel, construction, HVAC, or another skilled trade
- Certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- RVDA/RVIA certification
