Senior Manager, CDH Program Management

Leads integrated program planning, governance, deployment sequencing, and cross-functional coordination required to scale White Cap’s Customer Delivery Hub network. Establishes dependable management disciplines, transparent reporting, and operating cadences that translate approved multi-year priorities into coordinated, on-time execution across concurrent workstreams and deployments. Integrates functional plans, drives accountability for milestones and decisions, and provides senior leaders with clear visibility into program status, risks, dependencies, resources, and tradeoffs.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

- Develops and maintains the integrated CDH program roadmap and master deployment plan and translates approved priorities into sequenced workstreams, milestones, deliverables, decision points, and resource requirements.
- Establishes and administers program governance, including workstream routines, integrated planning sessions, leadership reviews, steering materials, decision logs, change controls, and escalation pathways.
- Integrates cross-functional plans across Field Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Commercial, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Safety, and Real Estate and drives alignment to approved scope, timing, and outcomes.
- Maintains transparent program controls across schedules, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, critical-path activities, and functional deliverables and relentlessly drives timely mitigation and closure.
- Coordinates deployment capacity and resource planning and identifies constraints requiring prioritization decisions.
- Develops executive-ready dashboards and decision support that communicate milestone health, financial visibility, risk outlook, key tradeoffs, and recommended actions.
- Monitors performance against approved scope, schedule, budget, deployment objectives, and business case expectations and coordinates dependable recovery plans.
- Advances consistent program management standards, tools, templates, and ways of working and incorporates lessons learned as the network scales.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

- Solutions require analysis and investigation.
- Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors.
- Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment

- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Travels periodically to field locations, deployment sites, and leadership meetings based on program needs.

Education and Experience

- Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Preferred Qualifications

- Demonstrates experience leading complex cross-functional programs with concurrent workstreams, senior stakeholders, and interdependent deliverables.
- Applies advanced program management capabilities across integrated planning, scope and change control, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, governance, resources, and executive reporting.
- Communicates transparently, facilitates effectively, and influences accountability and decisions without direct authority over all resources.
- Prefer a Project Management Professional certification or a comparable credential.
