This role will be working on the legal business team focusing on Commercial Mortgage Loan closing and funding.

- Act as liaison between borrowers, and internal business stakeholders such as CRE originators, internal legal counsel, asset management departments to facilitate the closing of commercial real estate loans with a focus on the repo/warehouse business
- Coordinate w/ middle office & origination team to help ensure timely funding on new originations
- Negotiate facility documents and lead fundings on new pledges
- Review loan amendments to confirm alignment with underwriting and credit expectations
- Coordinate w/ origination team and external counsel to commercial mortgage loan documents and supporting schedules including reconciliation w/ approved investment memos
- Coordinate with external counsel after loan closing to ensure fully executed loan documents are received and ensure final recorded documents are received
- Ensure all compliance requirements are met at closing

Qualifications/Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university and Juris Doctor required
- 2 to 5 years of commercial loan closing experience across multiple asset types and capital structures, including loan document review, understanding of loan analytics and funding mechanics and driving the loan closing process
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently
- Strong analytical, underwriting and critical thinking skills with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and perform in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented

The annual full time base salary range for this role is
$160,000.00 - $175,000.00

Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies. All full time employees also are eligible to participate in various benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance and 401K; in each case in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans.
