Summary:
A Key Accounts Manager at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Key Accounts team supporting efforts to foster strong relationships with customers, maximize revenue and profitability, and exceed our customers' expectations. This position involves the management and selling of accounts while managing key projects and is ideal for someone who is customer focused, has strong interpersonal skills, and is a strategic thinker.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Account Development Identify new key accounts (ex. Regional/national chains, distributors, redistributors, and group purchasing locations).
- Grow book of business through generation of new customers.
- Assist in determining customer needs and any related marketing programs as needed.
- Account Management Manage and maintain current customer account base.
- Grow and achieve volume/margins plans set by Key Accounts department.
- Develop and conduct new line-item presentations in a professional manner.
- Communicate with customers key information including price changes, promotions, programs, and policies in a timely manner.
- Forecasting and Reporting Forecast category sales and margin for annual budget plan.
- Create and report on all relevant company and supplier reports, records, programs, and customer account profiles.
- Monitor current sales activities and report sales growth plans to the appropriate manager.
- Project Management Establish and maintain relationships with internal sales personnel.
- Learn and operate the weekly bids systems within AS400.
- Identify and execute any additional customer project needs for management and development of book of business.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.
What you bring to Pacific Seafood
Education and Experience
- Required Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of three to five years of foodservice sales experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to travel up to 40% of the time
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
- Preferred Prior seafood/protein experience
- Knowledge of Order processing systems
- Bilingual

- Must be available to work Monday–Friday during regular working hours, with occasional weekend duties.
- Ability to maintain a stationary position 80% of the time, with intermittent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and/or crawling.
- Ability to move and transport documents, equipment, or other items weighing up to 50 pounds across various locations for different team members, departments, and events.
- Capable of occasional travel as required by duties, demonstrating efficiency and effectiveness in diverse locations.
- Capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, including a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
- Capable of frequently communicating with team members and stakeholders, accurately conveying detailed or important spoken instructions.
- Capable of perceiving visuals for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, and engaging in extensive reading.
