Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Sales Operations Analyst based in Chicago to serve as the primary sales operations point of contact for our EMEA field organization. This is a classic, execution-heavy field operations role: you will support EMEA sellers and sales leadership day to day, own quoting and deal support in partnership with Deal Desk, and keep the operational rhythm of the region running.

This role is based in the U.S. and works an early-start schedule (typically beginning in the early morning Central Time) to create several hours of real-time overlap with EMEA business hours. You will be the person reps come to when a quote is stuck, an opportunity needs fixing, or a deal has to close today.

This role suits someone who is genuinely hands-on, comfortable owning a region independently, and able to move quickly in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift and deadlines are real.

What You'll Do

Field Sales Operations

- Act as the primary sales operations contact for the EMEA field organization, fielding and resolving day-to-day requests from reps, managers, and regional leadership.
- Own opportunity and pipeline hygiene for the region, ensuring data in Salesforce is accurate, complete, and current ahead of forecast calls and business reviews.
- Support the weekly forecast process for EMEA, preparing reporting, flagging data gaps, and following up with reps and managers on inconsistencies.
- Administer account and territory changes for the region, including ownership transfers, account moves, and territory assignment updates.
- Maintain and enforce sales process and system standards, coaching reps on correct usage and escalating recurring issues for structural fixes.
- Build and maintain reporting and dashboards for EMEA sales leadership on pipeline, coverage, activity, and attainment.

Quoting & Deal Desk Support

- Own quote creation and quote review for EMEA deals, ensuring accuracy on products, pricing, terms, and configuration before deals move forward.
- Partner closely with Deal Desk on non-standard deal structures, discounting, multi-year terms, and approval requirements.
- Manage deal approval workflows end to end, driving quotes through required approvals and unblocking stalled deals.
- Support the reps through the full quote-to-order process, coordinating with Legal, Finance, and Order Management to keep deals moving to closure.
- Serve as the first line of guidance for reps on pricing policy, discount thresholds, and deal structuring questions, escalating to Deal Desk where judgment is required.
- Support end-of-quarter close, working extended and early hours as needed during peak periods to ensure deals are processed accurately and on time.

Process & Continuous Improvement

- Identify recurring friction in the EMEA sales process and propose practical fixes, whether in process, enablement, or system configuration.
- Document regional processes and maintain runbooks so support is consistent and not dependent on a single person.
- Partner with the broader Revenue Operations, Systems, and Enablement teams on projects, testing, and rollout of new processes and tools to the EMEA field.

What You'll Bring

- 5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Field Operations, Deal Desk, or Revenue Operations at a B2B software or technology company.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience, including opportunity management, reporting and dashboards, and comfort navigating and troubleshooting the sales process within the CRM.
- Direct experience with quoting and the quote-to-cash process, including CPQ tooling and deal approval workflows.
- Experience supporting a field sales organization directly, with a track record of being the go-to operational contact for sellers and sales managers.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for analysis, reporting, and ad hoc modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across geographies and seniority levels.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced environment with competing demands and tight, non-negotiable deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership — you follow issues through to resolution rather than handing them off.
- Willingness to work an early-start schedule that overlaps substantially with EMEA business hours, and to flex during quarter-end close.

Nice to Have

- Experience supporting EMEA specifically, including familiarity with multi-currency deals, regional pricing, and EU contracting norms.
- Exposure to SQL or BI tools (Sigma, Tableau, or Looker).
- Practical fluency with AI assistants such as Claude to speed up analysis, reporting, and recurring operational work.
- Experience with tools such as Xactly, Clari, LeanData, or DocuSign.
