Family Entertainment Group (FEG) is looking for outgoing, energetic, and personable Guest Engagement & Attraction Sales Ambassadors to join our team at The Flyer Thrill Zone and 7D Experience at Pier 39 in San Francisco .

This is not a typical ride attendant position .

The majority of your time will be spent engaging with guests and passersby, creating excitement about our attractions, answering questions, and helping turn interest into ticket sales. You will be the person who makes someone walking down Pier 39 stop, smile, and think:

“That looks fun. Let’s do it!”

Approximately 80% of this position is guest engagement and sales , with the remaining 20% focused on operating and maintaining one of our attractions.

What You’ll Do

###

Guest Engagement & Sales — Approximately 80%

- Actively engage with guests and passersby throughout Pier 39.
- Approach individuals, families, and groups in a friendly and confident manner.
- Start genuine conversations and discover what guests are looking for.
- Create excitement around The Flyer, 7D Experience, Escape Rooms, and other attractions.
- Explain attractions, answer questions, and make personalized recommendations.
- Convert conversations into ticket sales and help drive daily revenue.
- Use enthusiasm, personality, and storytelling to bring the experiences to life.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and recommend additional experiences.
- Provide an exceptional guest experience from the first interaction through the purchase.
- Represent FEG and The Flyer with a positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
- Work toward individual and team sales goals.

Attraction Operations — Approximately 20%

- Safely operate, open, and close an assigned attraction.
- Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Check guests to ensure they meet attraction requirements.
- Secure required safety restraints and devices.
- Monitor attraction operations and guest safety throughout each cycle.
- Assist guests on and off the attraction.
- Complete required safety and operational checklists.
- Address guest questions and concerns professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of the attraction and surrounding areas.
- Immediately report safety or equipment concerns to management.

You do not need amusement park experience . We will train you on the attractions.

- Outgoing and comfortable approaching strangers
- Friendly, energetic, and naturally conversational
- Confident speaking with individuals, families, and groups
- Comfortable starting a conversation with someone who isn’t expecting you to talk to them
- Persuasive without being pushy
- Motivated by sales and achieving goals
- Able to read people and adjust your approach
- Excited about creating memorable guest experiences
- Reliable, professional, and willing to take coaching
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic tourist environment
- Able to stand and interact with guests for extended periods
- Available for weekends, holidays, and busy tourist periods

Requirements

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
- Previous sales, hospitality, tourism, or customer service experience is a plus.
- No attraction experience required — training provided.
- Must be comfortable working around large crowds and interacting with guests throughout the day.
