About this role
The ERP Systems Analyst – Americas contributes to the Calling of Medical Teams International by supporting and enhancing the NetSuite environment while partnering closely with the Finance team. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, customization, integration, and ongoing optimization of NetSuite to support accounting, finance, reporting, and operational business processes.
Location: Remote within the Americas. Candidates must be located in a country within the Pacific to Eastern time zones, including the continental U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America, and be available to work within those business hours.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
ERP (NetSuite) Administration
- Provide advanced functional support across NetSuite Financials, NetSuite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), and related modules.
- Serve as the primary administrator for the NetSuite platform.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, and security configurations across the organization
- Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, reports, and saved searches.
- Configure and support financial modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting. Advise and assist users with system-related inquiries, process improvements, and best-practice guidance.
- Lead efforts to deploy and stabilize NSPB and support the user adoption process with training and SOPs as required.
- Troubleshoot system issues and provide end-user support and training.
- Manage system releases, testing, and deployment activities.
- Investigate and assist resolving system, reporting, workflow, and data-related issues that may involve or affect adjacent or integrated systems in the wider back-office ecosystem, including Emburse Certify, Salesforce CRM, Paycom and Unit4 ERP.
- Collaborate with Global Support Services (Finance, Procurement, Logistics, HR, Operations, and Information Systems) stakeholders to support and promote effective use of the platform.
- Maintain audit-ready systems and data compliance across all routines and processes.
NetSuite Development
- Design, develop, and maintain customizations using SuiteScript 2.0/2.1.
- Create and enhance workflows, forms, records, and business process automation.
- Develop and maintain Suitelets, User Event Scripts, Client Scripts, Map/Reduce Scripts, and Scheduled Scripts.
- Support integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
- Participate in data migration, data cleanup, and system optimization initiatives.
- Document technical solutions and system configurations.
Operational & Cross-Functional Support
- Provide reporting and analysis requirements spanning finance and operational functions.
- Collaborate on and contribute to BAU projects focused on improving GL, AP, Procurement and Reporting processes.
- Participate in strategic projects and organizational initiatives as required.
Financial Accounting & Finance Operations
- Technically partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide expert technical accounting and systems support for day-to-day finance operations across Headquarters and international country offices in the NetSuite environment.
- Provide expert functional and technical support across NetSuite General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation and NSPB modules.
- Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes, including journal processing, accruals, prepayments, data uploads from adjacent systems and financial reconciliations.
- Implement new processes for corporate planning and budgeting and reporting.
- Assist with audit-related requests and reporting requirements. Support payment processing, bank statement imports, cash allocation, and bank reconciliation activities.
- Support fixed asset accounting, including asset acquisitions, transfers, disposals, depreciation processing, and asset reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve transactional, posting, and reconciliation issues to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Collaborate with Finance teams across headquarters and international country offices to support consistent financial processes, accounting controls, and reporting.
Financial Systems, Reporting & Automation
- Design, develop, and maintain financial reporting solutions within NetSuite and associated reporting platforms.
- Develop automated reporting processes to improve reporting efficiency, consistency, and accuracy.
- Design and maintain automated financial statement generation processes, including Balance Sheets, Statements of Activities, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and supporting schedules.
- Support data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis activities to ensure reporting integrity.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Other Duties:
- Support safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse & Harassment, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. Incumbents will remain alert and responsive to any child and adult safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child and adult safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding code of conduct and behavior expectations.
- Utilize volunteers when appropriate.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, information systems, business administration, or related field. Professional experience in a relevant field may be substituted on a year-for-year basis
Preferred:
- Master's degree or finance/accounting certification
- CPA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA, CPA Australia, CPA Canada)
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- Minimum 4 years hands-on NetSuite experience, working with GL, AP, AR, procure-to-pay, and bank reconciliation modules
- Experience using Unit4 ERP, Emburse Certify, Paycom, Salesforce CRM
- Experience supporting headquarters and multi-country finance operations
- Experience supporting NetSuite (or other ERP) reporting, workflow, and financial control processes
- Experience working with Power BI or similar analytical and visualization tools
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Experience developing management accounts, executive management packs, and Board reporting
Preferred:
- Experience supporting nonprofit, humanitarian, healthcare, higher education or grant-funded organizations
- Experience providing cross platform systems administration to complex organizations
- 3 or more years hands-on NetSuite Administration experience
- 3 or more years NetSuite development experience
- Experience with SuiteScript 2.0/2.1 development
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards
- Experience supporting Finance and Accounting business processes
- Experience with NetSuite user and role administration

Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques, with the ability to extract, validate, reconcile, and analyze ERP data to support reporting requirements
- Expert knowledge of NetSuite Financials including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards
Skills:
- Skilled at gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency managing GL segment codes on NetSuite and across ERP, CRM, T&E, and payroll systems
- Skilled at supporting month-end and year-end close processes Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled with using Microsoft Office and 365 applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint
- Skilled with communication software: Outlook, Skype, Internet, CRM (or other database programs)
- Skilled at using CSV uploads, bank statement uploads, and other NetSuite file transfer and data management tools
- Skilled with NetSuite Planning & Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

- Skilled and able to communicate verbally and in writing in English at a professional level
- Strong skills in SQL, Power BI, and financial reporting automation preferred
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query preferred

Compensation: The anticipated hiring range for U.S.-based candidates is $90,000–$100,000 USD annually . Final compensation will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. While the salary range listed applies to candidates residing in the United States, compensation for candidates located outside the U.S. will be determined using Medical Teams International's international compensation framework and may vary based on local market conditions and organizational compensation practices.
