Description

OBJECTIVE:
Skilled Laborers work under the direction of the Site Supervisor and assist with the installation and assembly of indoor playground structures and related equipment. This position requires previous construction, installation, assembly, or similar hands-on experience and the ability to safely use power and hand tools.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Assemble and install playground structures and related components according to plans and supervisor instructions.
- Read and follow basic installation drawings, measurements, and layouts.
- Measure, align, level, secure, and fasten structural components.
- Safely operate hand tools and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, grinders, and other installation equipment.
- Install bolts, hardware, panels, netting, platforms, and other structural components.
- Assist with loading, unloading, organizing, and moving materials and equipment.
- Use ladders, scaffolding, and lifts when required.
- Identify basic installation issues and communicate them to the Site Supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures.
- Work effectively as part of an installation crew to meet project schedules.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, reach, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Previous experience in construction, installation, carpentry, assembly, mechanical work, or a related trade preferred.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to take accurate measurements and follow basic plans or installation drawings.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced jobsite environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
- Indoor playground installation experience is a plus but not required.

Salary Description
$20.00-$22.00/ Hr
