As Commercial Manager - Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll support sales growth and customer success for our advanced analytical and scientific instruments. Working in scientific instrument solutions, you'll help customers make informed decisions in research, quality control, and process improvement. You'll work closely with channel partner, develop and expand customer relationships while representing our comprehensive portfolio of instruments, consumables, and services across diverse analytical markets.
Selling Agility
- Work closely with channel partner in Saudi Arabia to drive growth and support customer success
- Identify and prioritize new opportunities and develop solution implementation and growth strategies
- Lead and nurture account relationships to drive expansion and renewals across the full Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division portfolio (analytical instruments, consumables, services); provide product assistance, consultation, and problem-solving to customers
- Provide quotations, negotiate contracts and close orders with channel partner and end-users as well as purchasing departments, and support all procurement processes
Drives Growth
- Manage accounts penetration and share of wallet; grow organically, broader and deeper with all primary products
- Lead direction for Saudi market; develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned territory; maintain a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed all sales objectives
- Use Thermo Fisher Scientific's sales tools to be responsible for the accounts, opportunities, pipelines, and forecast in an accurate and timely manner
Leadership
- Collaborate and coordinate with technical sales specialists, field applications, and marketing teams (as well as any other internal function) to provide technical expertise.
- Attend and run technical business presentations, and when required, trade shows, user meetings, and other customer events
- Work authoritatively in a team selling environment engaging the best internal company resources to address customer challenges
- Partner closely with Business Development Managers in Saudi Arabia to identify, develop, and convert strategic opportunities while driving demand generation within a designated portfolio of pre-agreed accounts.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- BSc degree in Chemistry or related life science field required
- Minimum 5-7 years of selling experience in same field strongly preferred
- Track record in managing complex project in similar industry.
- Must have solid understanding of Chromatography (GC, HPLC & IC) Spectroscopy ( ICPOES, ICPMS ) and should have knowledge of Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS and LC/MS) and Chromatography Software solutions.
- Strong preference for broad familiarity with the following industries and applications: biotech, pharmaceutical, academia research, environmental, food Safety, toxicology, forensics, and petrochemical/petroleum.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, channel partners and internal stakeholders
- Ability to maintain accurate forecast in Sales tools
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
