Overview Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the hardware infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. Responsibilities <ul><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead network demand planning for programs supporting Azure and AI infrastructure growth across Microsoft’s global cloud platform.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Translate business demand, technology roadmaps, and infrastructure requirements into actionable plans that improve readiness, predictability, and execution.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives across engineering, capacity planning, deployment, finance, and business organizations.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Lead strategic programs and planning transformations that improve scalability, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Identify risks, dependencies, and execution challenges and drive alignment on mitigation strategies across partner teams.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Establish governance mechanisms, business rhythms, executive reviews, and performance metrics that enable effective decision-making and execution at scale.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Partner with engineering teams to understand infrastructure requirements and ensure planning assumptions remain aligned with evolving technology needs.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop data-driven analysis and recommendations that influence prioritization, investment decisions, and business planning.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build alignment and drive decisions across multiple organizations while managing competing priorities and constraints.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Communicate complex technical and business topics clearly to senior leaders and executives, including recommendations, tradeoffs, risks, and execution plans.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Represent the organization in executive forums and lead discussions that shape network planning strategy and operational execution.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-focused execution.</li></ul> Qualifications <h4>Minimum Qualifications:</h4><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development <ul><li>OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li>3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.</li></ul> Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:<ul style="margin-top: 0.0in; margin-bottom: 0.0in;" type="disc"><li style="margin-top: 0.0; margin-bottom: 0.0; vertical-align: middle;">Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.</li></ul><h4> </h4><h4>Preferred Qualifications:</h4><ul><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field AND 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Infrastructure Planning, Engineering, Operations, Business Planning, or related disciplines; <ul><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">OR equivalent experience.</li></ul></li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">8+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-organizational programs with executive visibility and measurable business impact.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Experience driving demand planning, forecasting, capacity planning, infrastructure planning, or business planning processes within complex technology environments.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Proven track record of independently leading highly ambiguous initiatives and delivering results across organizational boundaries.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment without direct authority.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Experience presenting recommendations, business tradeoffs, and strategic decisions to executive audiences.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights and business outcomes.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Demonstrated success driving strategic business decisions through influence, data, and operational rigor.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Experience supporting hyperscale cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, networking, data centers, or large-scale technical environments.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Understanding of network architecture, networking technologies, infrastructure deployment, and capacity management concepts.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Experience leading planning transformation, operational excellence, or business process improvement initiatives.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Proficient financial and business acumen.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Experience developing executive dashboards, governance frameworks, and business review mechanisms.</li><li style="font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10.0pt;">Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration (MBA), Operations, or related field</li></ul> #CSCP #CSCPJobs Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
