About this role

Ro is looking for a Director of Integrated Marketing to lead the development and execution of our highest-priority integrated marketing campaigns.
This is a senior, hands-on role for a marketer who knows how to take a strong creative idea into a cohesive campaign that reaches consumers across paid, owned, and earned channels. You’ll bring together Brand, Product Marketing, Growth, Communications, Insights, and other channel teams around a shared campaign strategy and ensure that every part of the campaign works together to maximize its impact.
You’ll be accountable for integrated campaigns from early strategy and planning through launch and performance assessment. You’ll propose how an idea should come to life across channels, identify the moments and tactics that can make it bigger, establish the campaign plan and operating cadence, and drive alignment among the cross-functional team and prioritize exceptional execution.
At Ro, Directors are both leaders and operators. This role will initially be an individual contributor, but will have significant cross-functional leadership responsibility. You should be equally comfortable shaping the strategy for a major campaign and getting into the details required to make it successful.

What you’ll do

Lead Ro's highest-priority integrated campaigns

- Own the integrated marketing strategy and execution for major consumer campaigns, including celebrity partnerships, brand moments, and other high-priority launches.

- Translate campaign objectives, audience insights, product claims, and an aligned creative concept into a clear integrated marketing strategy across paid, owned, and earned channels.

- Identify opportunities to maximize a creative concept across channels, ensuring we're not simply adapting the same idea everywhere but taking advantage of what each channel can uniquely contribute.

- Build the campaign architecture: define the role of each channel, key moments, sequencing, dependencies, and how the pieces work together to create greater impact.

- Maintain a holistic view of the consumer experience and ensure campaigns feel cohesive wherever consumers encounter Ro.

Orchestrate cross-functional teams

- Serve as the single accountable marketing lead for assigned integrated campaigns, bringing together teams across Brand, Product Marketing, Growth,Communications, and other functions.

- Partner with Product Marketing to understand the consumer insight, value proposition, and product claims we can credibly bring to market.

- Partner closely with Brand as they develop the creative concept, helping pressure-test how ideas can extend across channels and identifying opportunities to maximize the concept once aligned.

- Partner with channel owners to determine how the campaign should come to life within their channels, bringing their expertise into the integrated strategy rather than prescribing channel execution.

- Create clarity across complex initiatives by establishing priorities, roles, decision points, dependencies, timelines, and operating rhythms.

- Anticipate risks and resolve cross-functional blockers before they compromise the quality or timing of a launch.

Raise the bar for integrated marketing at Ro

- Develop a repeatable approach to integrated campaign planning that enables teams to move quickly without sacrificing strategic rigor or executional excellence.

- Push teams to think beyond individual channel deliverables and identify opportunities for ideas to build on one another across the entire campaign.

- Bring a strong point of view on what makes integrated consumer marketing effective and help evolve how Ro shows up during our biggest marketing moments.

- Create strong feedback loops after launches, partnering with channel teams to understand performance and translating those learnings into better future campaigns.

Be a hands-on leader

- Personally drive the work required to move campaigns from strategy through execution rather than relying on a large team to do it for you.

- Move fluidly between strategic thinking and executional detail—from determining how a campaign should show up across the consumer journey to resolving an issue that could put a launch at risk.

- Lead through influence, building trust and alignment across teams with different priorities and areas of expertise.

- Operate comfortably in ambiguity and bring structure and momentum to complex, fast-moving initiatives.

What you'll bring

- 10+ years of experience in integrated marketing, brand marketing, consumer marketing, or related roles, within a high-growth consumer, DTC, or digitally native business.

- A track record of personally leading large, cross-channel consumer campaigns from strategy through launch, with clear examples of the role you played and the impact the work had.

- Experience orchestrating campaigns across a mix of paid, owned, and earned channels, with enough fluency across disciplines to connect the work while respecting the expertise of functional channel owners.

- Strong consumer and creative judgment. You know what makes an idea compelling and can identify opportunities to make a strong creative concept work harder across channels without needing to be the person who develops the creative concept.

- Experience partnering closely with Brand/Creative, Product Marketing, Growth/Performance Marketing, Social, Communications/PR, and Lifecycle/CRM teams.

- Exceptional cross-functional leadership. You can create alignment, make decisions, resolve ambiguity, and hold teams accountable without relying on reporting lines.

- Strong operational instincts and attention to detail. You know that exceptional campaigns require both a strong idea and excellent execution.

- Experience operating in a lean, fast-moving organization where senior leaders are expected to both set direction and execute.

- Low ego and high ownership. No part of getting an important campaign successfully into market is beneath you.

In your first year, you'll have established yourself as the person Ro turns to when we need to bring a major marketing moment to market exceptionally well.

Our highest-priority campaigns will have a clear integrated strategy, stronger coordination across teams and channels, and a cohesive consumer experience from first exposure through conversion and beyond. Brand will have a partner who helps maximize great creative ideas across the full marketing ecosystem; channel owners will have clarity on how their work contributes to the larger campaign; and Product Marketing will be able to maintain deeper focus on product positioning, claims, launches, and channel strategy rather than serving as the operational owner of every major campaign.

We welcome qualified candidates of all races, creeds, genders, and sexuality to apply.
