Role and Responsibilities
Position summary
Owns business performance for one large or several related B2B mobile categories. Converts portfolio direction and financial insights into category, channel and customer actions; leads the weekly operating rhythm; challenges demand and forecast assumptions; and drives recovery plans with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Operations.
Scope
Large, complex category or cluster of related categories; may lead Category Managers or senior analysts; manages high-value launches, lifecycle transitions and customer/channel priorities.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop the annual category plan and rolling outlook for revenue, units, mix, market share, sell-through, inventory and key commercial initiatives.
· Lead category performance reviews, identify root causes and maintain a quantified recovery plan with owners, due dates, confidence levels and remaining risk.
· Challenge Sales and demand forecasts using pipeline, customer commitments, historical run rate, channel inventory, sell-through and market signals.
· Build customer-, channel- and model-level action plans for launches, promotions, trade-in or funding programs, aging inventory and end-of-life transitions.
· Recommend pricing, promotion and investment actions; document baseline versus funded upside, expected revenue and units, Net ASP or margin implications, and ROI.
· Partner with Product and GTM teams to convert roadmap, positioning and launch plans into executable B2B commercial motions and sales enablement priorities.
· Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations to address availability, inventory, configuration, timing and execution dependencies.
· Synthesize performance, competitive and customer insights into clear recommendations and escalation asks for leadership.
· Coach team members and improve category tools, scorecards, processes and operating standards.

· Independently owns category decisions within agreed guardrails and recommends material exceptions.
· Facilitates cross-functional reviews and holds senior stakeholders accountable for committed actions.
· Balances near-term recovery with launch, lifecycle and next-year category
Skills and Qualifications
Required qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, economics or a related field; MBA preferred.
· Typically 8+ years of experience in category management, commercial product management, business planning, sales strategy, revenue operations or a related discipline; prior team or workstream leadership preferred.
· Experience managing revenue forecasts, pricing or promotional programs, product lifecycle, inventory and customer/channel performance.
· Advanced analytical and financial skills with strong Excel, presentation and business-intelligence capabilities.
· Strong communication, influence and execution skills in a complex matrixed organization.
