Director, Strategic Services

Reports To: Global Head of Strategic Services

CreatorIQ's Strategic Services organization delivers scoped, professional-services engagements across our specialized functions. Most customer engagements span several of these functions at once, which takes real coordination: aligning what's been sold with what it takes to deliver, who's billable against it, and where capacity exists.

CreatorIQ is looking for a Director, Strategic Services, U.S. who has lived in the customer's shoes, running or scoping creator/influencer marketing programs, to own that coordination. This is a hybrid pre-sales/post-sale role: you'll help scope and position Strategic Services engagements during the sales cycle, and once a deal closes, you'll own the operational through-line: building the scope, assigning billable codes, tracking utilization and allocation, and activating the right functional teams to deliver it. You'll partner closely with your EMEA-based counterpart to keep delivery standards and cross-functional handoffs consistent globally.

This role gives our senior specialists and functional leads room to focus on the high-value work only they can do, by owning scope-building, billability, and team activation centrally.

The ideal candidate has walked in the customer's shoes, either as an operator running creator/influencer marketing programs at a large multinational brand, or as a strategist at a prominent creator/influencer marketing agency, and pairs that program-level fluency with the operational discipline to run scoping, billability, and resourcing across a multi-function services team. This role leads a small, growing U.S.-based team supporting Strategic Services delivery, with team composition to be finalized as the role is built out. Beyond day-to-day delivery, this role partners directly with the Global Head, Strategic Services to help shape how the organization evolves: informing team structure, standardizing how we scope and deliver work, and building the operating model for the function as it grows.

Key Responsibilities

- Scope Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of scope-building for Strategic Services engagements, translating what's been sold (or what a prospect needs) into a clearly defined, deliverable scope of work that spans the right combination of functions.
- Billability & Utilization: Own billable coding, utilization, and allocation tracking across all six Strategic Services functions, so we have a real-time, accurate picture of who is working on what, how much time it's taking, and what our actual margins are, not just what was priced.
- Activating the Right Teams: Map each scope to the functions it actually requires (e.g., Platform Operations plus Strategic Intelligence) and activate those teams as necessary, so engagements aren't siloed inside a single function when the customer's need spans several.
- Cross-Functional Handoffs: Own explicit handoff points and expectations across functions that naturally intersect, Strategic Intelligence/Reporting, Creator Operations/Campaign Operations, Platform Operations/Enablement, so those relationships run on defined process rather than individual goodwill.
- Standardized Services Catalog: Build and maintain a catalog of repeatable, well-scoped Strategic Services offerings that Sales and CS can confidently position without pulling in a functional lead for every deal, reserving custom scoping for genuinely bespoke or strategically significant engagements.
- Bandwidth & Capacity Planning: Assess team bandwidth before a scope is sold, not after, so commitments made in the sales cycle are ones we can actually deliver on, and flag when contractor bench activation is needed. Partner with Finance/RevOps to drive consistent time-tracking and billable-hour logging practices across Strategic Services, closing a real gap in how accurately we can see utilization today.
- Services Discovery & Scoping: Partner with Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and Strategic Services leaders to run discovery with prospects and customers, uncovering program gaps, resourcing needs, and strategic goals that Strategic Services can address.
- Solutioning Professional Services: Translate customer needs into clearly scoped, custom professional services proposals, including program strategy, creator program management, analytics/reporting builds, campaign support, and platform optimization engagements.
- Proposal & SOW Development: Own the technical and strategic content of proposals, scopes of work (SOWs), and RFP/RFI responses related to Strategic Services, ensuring they are accurate, credible, and tied to customer outcomes and to what we can actually resource.
- Deal Support: Act as the subject-matter expert and active presenter in new-business pitches, competitive RFP processes, and renewal/expansion conversations where Strategic Services is a component of the deal, addressing objections and clarifying what's in and out of scope.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with all Strategic Services functional leads, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure scopes, staffing, and the services offering itself evolve with customer needs and platform capabilities.
- Category Expertise: Stay current on creator/influencer marketing trends, agency and brand-side best practices, and the competitive landscape, serving as a go-to scope expert for internal teams.

Who you are and what you'll need for this position:

- 6+ years of hands-on creator/influencer marketing experience, either as a strategist, account lead, or director at a prominent creator/influencer marketing agency, or as an operator/practitioner running creator/influencer marketing programs at a large multinational brand.
- Proven experience scoping and/or selling in an enterprise SaaS or agency environment, this is a must, not a nice-to-have. You should be able to speak concretely to deals or engagements you've helped scope, price, and deliver.
- Operational fluency with billability, utilization, and resource allocation, you think naturally in terms of who's working on what, how much capacity exists, and what a scope will actually cost to deliver.
- Strong ability to translate creator marketing strategy and program needs into clearly scoped, sellable, and deliverable professional services offerings.
- Comfort working across a multi-function services org, you can quickly identify which teams a given scope requires and coordinate their involvement without being their manager.
- Track record pitching or presenting professional/managed services directly to prospects, including in competitive RFP and new-business finalist situations.
- Experience building or improving a services catalog, playbook, or standardized offering set, you default to repeatable, well-scoped solutions and reserve custom work for engagements that genuinely warrant it.
- Excellent presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build credibility with both practitioner-level and executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), time-tracking/billability systems, and proposal/SOW development.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience partnering across Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery/Services teams.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

- Direct experience with the CreatorIQ platform or comparable creator/influencer marketing technology.
- Experience building or scoping services offerings such as program strategy, analytics/reporting, campaign management, or platform optimization.
- Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, SOWs, MSAs).
- Prior experience owning billable codes, utilization reporting, or resource allocation in an agency, consultancy, or professional services organization.
- Existing network or credibility within the creator/influencer marketing industry (brand-side or agency-side).
