As a Senior Manager, Sales within our Resiliency Solutions business, you will lead a team of Account Executives responsible for driving growth across electric and gas utility customers. This role combines frontline sales leadership with strategic territory planning, coaching, and market development to accelerate adoption of Itron's utility software and SaaS solutions.

You will build a high-performing, customer-centric sales organization that partners with utility leaders to modernize operations, improve resiliency, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in utility software sales, team leadership, and strategic account planning within complex enterprise environments.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.

- Partner with sales leadership to define territory strategy, account prioritization, and opportunity planning across key utility customers.

- Drive consistent execution of sales processes, forecast accuracy, pipeline management, and business reviews.

- Support complex customer engagements and strategic opportunities while helping the team navigate multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

- Build and execute growth strategies that expand recurring revenue and strengthen customer relationships.

- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solution Consulting teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

- Provide market insights and customer feedback to influence product strategy and business priorities.

- Champion an authentic, inclusive, and customer-focused culture that encourages innovation and agility.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ years of enterprise software, SaaS, or technology sales experience, including leadership responsibility.

- 3+ years of experience leading sales teams and developing high-performing sellers.

- Demonstrated success selling software solutions to Electric and/or Gas Utilities.

- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles involving executive, operational, and technical stakeholders.

- Strong strategic account planning, territory management, and forecasting capabilities.

- Ability to coach teams on consultative and value-based selling methodologies.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Experience leading utility software or grid modernization sales teams.

- Knowledge of utility work management, asset management, GIS, construction, field operations, or infrastructure management solutions.

- Experience scaling sales organizations within high-growth technology businesses.

- Background selling SaaS solutions with recurring revenue and ARR targets.

- Familiarity with utility digital transformation initiatives and infrastructure modernization programs.

- Experience with MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, or similar sales methodologies.

- MBA or advanced business degree preferred.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. The base salary is $125,000-218,000 annually. This position is eligible for our Sales Incentive Plan.
