Overview:

The Senior Designer is the Creative Studio's lead hands-on maker, transforming strategy and creative direction into exceptional presentations, video, motion, and supporting design. A designer first, this role combines strong visual judgment with broad executional range: building executive-ready slides, editing footage, creating light motion work in Adobe After Effects, and developing coherent visual systems.

The Senior Designer sets the craft standard alongside the Art Director, mentors the Designer, and collaborates with external partners, with presentations and video remaining the center of gravity alongside selective support for style guides and other priority design needs.

This role reports to the Art Director, and partners closely with the Designer, Creative Producer, Franchise, Licensing, Marketing, and External Creative Partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead the hands-on design and development of the Studio's highest-profile presentations, sizzle reels, videos, and strategic visual communications, including executive and keynote decks, Property Snapshot and strategic storytelling decks, and sizzle reels, video edits, and motion graphics

- Translate complex business ideas into clear narrative structures, compelling layouts, and polished presentation-ready work

- Execute across presentation design, graphic design, video editing, and light motion work in Adobe After Effects without sacrificing craft or strategic intent

- Art direct portions of projects, mentor the Designer on the team, and strengthen the Studio's creative practice through mindful feedback and collaboration

- Flex into style-guide design, visual systems, presentation templates, diagrams, and icons, and other high-priority design assignments, partnering effectively with external creative specialists

- Maintain a consistently high bar for craft, clarity, and attention to detail across all output, while supporting the Designer's growth and the Studio's overall creative standard

Basic Qualifications:

- 7+ years of relevant design experience across presentation, graphic design, motion, video, or related multidisciplinary work

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote and/or PowerPoint, including video editing and light motion capability in Adobe After Effects

Additional Qualifications:

- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating excellence in presentation design, graphic design, visual storytelling, motion, and video

- Strong typography, layout, composition, narrative, and visual communication skills across static and time-based work

- Demonstrated ability to mentor designers, art direct project components, and collaborate across multidisciplinary internal and external teams

- Working knowledge of AI-assisted creative and production workflows for concept exploration, image generation, presentation development, motion, and emerging video applications, with sound judgment about when their use improves the work

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $74,000.00 - 111,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
