Job Description

The School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer (Level B) Nursing in a teaching focused role, where you will undertake teaching, course coordination and curriculum development. You are expected to have demonstrated clinical nursing expertise and teaching experience. You will also undertake some learning and teaching research or scholarship. If eligible, supervision of Honours and research higher degree student is possible.

This is a continuing, full time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast. As Griffith is a multi-site university you may be required to work across other locations.

Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.

Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be Academic Level B range $117,076 - $139,031 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $136,979 - $162,667 per annum.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will:

- Hold unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with Ahpra.
- Possess a Master's qualification in Nursing (or equivalent) and/or hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in Nursing or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate a track record in tertiary teaching.
- Desirable is  expertise in infection prevention and control, mental health nursing, or aged care.
