This is an exciting opportunity to lead the marketing strategy for one of Australia's largest workplace and retirement businesses. As Head of Employer and Adviser Marketing, you'll shape how we engage with advisers, employers and key industry partners, driving growth, retention and long-term customer value. Working closely with senior leaders across Distribution, Product, Advice and Service teams, you'll develop innovative marketing strategies that strengthen relationships, enhance our market position and deliver measurable commercial outcomes. Leading a high-performing team, you'll play a pivotal role in influencing business strategy, championing customer-centric thinking and helping more Australians achieve better retirement outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the adviser and employer marketing strategy to drive growth, retention and advocacy outcomes
- Act as a strategic marketing partner to senior business leaders, providing insights and commercial guidance
- Develop adviser engagement, thought leadership and communication programs that strengthen relationships and trust
- Shape employer acquisition strategies, value propositions and go-to-market plans across key market segments
- Build relationships with tender consultants and industry influencers to support growth and market positioning
- Deliver engagement strategies that improve employer retention, advocacy and customer experience outcomes
- Partner with member marketing teams to deliver integrated B2B2C campaigns that drive member growth and engagement
- Lead employer onboarding and transition programs that support seamless customer experiences
- Establish performance measures and reporting frameworks to track marketing effectiveness and commercial impact
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing team while fostering innovation and continuous improvement
- Manage marketing budgets and investment priorities to maximise return on investment and business outcomes
- Ensure all marketing activity aligns with regulatory, governance and risk management requirements
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience leading marketing functions within financial services, wealth, superannuation or advice
- Proven success developing strategies that drive growth, retention and commercial performance
- Strong understanding of adviser, employer, superannuation and retirement markets
- Exceptional commercial acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into marketing outcomes
- Expertise in segmentation, proposition development, campaign strategy and customer engagement
- A data-driven approach with experience using insights and analytics to inform decision-making
- Strong leadership capability with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Experience leading change and driving transformation in complex environments
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level
- Strong understanding of marketing governance, risk, compliance and regulatory obligations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- A collaborative and customer-focused mindset, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
