Plumber

The Role

Ventia is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced Plumber to be part of their close-knit Defence Team based at Campbell Barrack, WA. Reporting to the Plumbing Supervisor, this role will see you responsible for ensuring the integrity of plumbing systems throughout planned maintenance, reactive maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
This position is a full-time permanent role, working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am – 03:30pm (with paid overtime opportunities) and 1x RDO (Rostered Day Off) per month. A company car (Tool of Trade vehicle) will also be provided for travel to and from the base each day.
To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Key duties, but not limited to:

- Installation and repair of pipes and drains
- Maintenance of services related to suppling water, gas, drainage and sewage systems
- Contribute to overall site maintenance
- Perform water treatment testing and adjustment to systems accordingly
- Ensure inspection results are recorded online within quality standards
- Assist other trades as required

Skills & Experience:

- WA Driver’s Licence
- Trade qualification in Plumbing
- Gas Fitting Licence – Highly regarded
- Experience in a Plumbing role across residential, commercial and industrial work environments
- Willingness to travel occasionally to the different metro & remote defence sites as required
