Job Summary
The FP&A Expert is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning and analysis to support business decision-making. This role involves developing financial models, analyzing trends, and providing insights that influence operational and strategic initiatives. The FP&A Expert collaborates with business leaders to ensure financial targets are met and resources are optimally allocated.
This job profile is intended for recognized subject matter experts in a job area. Required to manage large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level professionals.
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional is responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making in close alignment with the local controllers. Leveraging advanced data analytics and insights, the FP&A Controller role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate the annual budget
- Refresh predictive financial forecasts periodically
- Conduct profitability and performance reporting
- Perform plan analytics and risk management, managing and continuously improving the financial planning and analysis processes
- Provide recommendation to the business based on in depth financial analysis
- Manage collections reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate and timely information to support decision-making
- Provide comprehensive reporting and analytics on procurement activities, contributing to informed purchasing decisions
- Oversee the period end close processes, generating accurate and insightful period end financial reports and analytics to ensure financial integrity
- Handle period end closing, and related analytics, ensuring thorough and precise financial tracking and reporting for projects
- Oversee CAPEX planning, forecasting, investment strategy, period-end close activities and reporting
- Ensure all financial reporting and processes comply with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Ensure internal controls are in place for the processes performed by this role
- Comply with relevant QESH regulations
- Monitor net working capital of all companies in the region, identifying and investigating weaknesses and suggesting ways of improvement.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
