The Solutions Engineer, Data Analytics is responsible for designing, developing, and operationalization of AI/ML solutions that enable advanced data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role combines strong Python and C#/.NET software engineering with data pipeline development to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems, manufacturing data platforms, and analytics environments. The position will be responsible for delivering and supporting AI-enabled solutions that integrate with enterprise data platforms and manufacturing systems. The role operates with a moderate degree of autonomy and collaborates closely with Data Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and business stakeholders to ensure scalable, reliable, and production-ready implementations.
The Solutions Engineer, Data Analytics will be expected to support both development and ongoing optimization of AI services and data pipelines that enable advanced analytics and operational insights. This role will establish proficiency in Data Warehousing & technical program data management that enable advanced analytics. As directed, the incumbent contributes to global efforts by supporting, developing, and maintaining tools, software, and AI solutions key to enabling statistical modeling, visualization, reporting, and interpretation of results.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement AI/ML and LLM-based solutions to support business and operational use cases.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize C#/.NET services, APIs, and application components that operationalize AI capabilities.
- Build, administer, and enhance data pipelines to support model training, feature engineering, and real-time or batch inference workloads.
- Integrate AI solutions with SQL Server, enterprise data warehouses, and industrial data platforms (e.g., AVEVA PI, ISA-88 event frameworks).
- Administer, monitor, and optimize performance of deployed AI models and supporting services to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper data availability, quality, and alignment with business requirements.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines for AI use cases.
- Develop C#/.NET services, APIs, and integrations for AI solutions.
- Integrate AI with SQL Server, data warehouses, and industrial systems (e.g., PI).
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics or related field required with a minimum of one (1) year relevant industry experience in applied computer science.
- Experience inclusive of:
Programming: Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Python and/or
- Experience building production-grade APIs and backend services in C# and/or
- Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines and/or
- Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server and data modeling and/or
- Experience integrating systems via APIs and messaging patterns and/or
- Knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-based architectures (RAG)
- Strong problem-solving, system design, and communication skills
