Behavioral Treatment Technicians work directly with individuals and families to provide therapeutic support and implement behavior intervention plans that promote growth, learning, and independence. Job Summary:
Provides direct behavioral intervention services using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to an autism population in center, home, and community settings.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develops therapeutic relationships with clients and families.
- Ens ures accurate and timely documentation consistent with all contracts, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
- Provides therapeutic services to clients, independently and with a team, creatively, and competently, as directed by clinical supervisors.
- Provides reports, program updates, and other information as requested to clinical supervisors and team members.
- Complies with the most recent Behavior Analyst Certification Board ( BACB ) and  Registered Behavior Technician ( RBT )   E thics Code.
- Attends team and department meetings for continuing training/education on client-specific and behavioral analytic interventions.
- Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

- High School diploma/GED

EXPERIENCE

- No experience required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.
- Occasional driving.
- Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
