Medior/Senior Frontend Developer (Vue.js)

The role

We are looking for a Medior/Senior Frontend Developer to join our long-term partnership with ICA Retail – Customer Solutions .

This is a full-time, on-site position in Sarajevo .

ICA is one of Sweden’s largest retail organizations, with more than 50% of the Swedish grocery retail market and approximately 1,300 stores across the country .

You will work on business-critical applications related to store information, digital marketing campaigns, offer management, and customer experience.

The team is looking for someone who combines strong frontend development experience with a proactive, quality-focused, and customer-oriented approach.

Project

You will work with two key applications:

MSO – Marketing Store Object is ICA’s central platform for managing and distributing store information. It serves as the master source for data such as opening hours, available services, URLs, and marketing attributes.

This information is distributed to ICA’s digital products and business systems through APIs and integrations, making reliability and data quality essential.

Digital Campaign Management is ICA Reklam’s central platform for creating and distributing digital marketing campaigns. It manages campaigns, offers, system integrations, and automated advertisement publishing across a wide range of digital channels.

The work includes:

- Developing and maintaining frontend applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript
- Building reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components
- Integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend services
- Working with business-critical store, campaign, and offer data
- Contributing to frontend architecture and technical decisions
- Troubleshooting frontend and integration-related issues
- Ensuring high standards of code quality, testing, and maintainability
- Working with GitLab and CI/CD workflows
- Working within an Azure-based environment
- Collaborating closely with Backend Developers, Frontend Developers, the Delivery Lead, and UX Designer
- Identifying customer and retailer needs and proposing product improvements
- Contributing to the team’s product development, ways of working, and technical direction
- Working within a collaborative Scrum/Agile environment

Requirements:

- Strong professional frontend development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js , preferably Vue 3
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript
- Experience developing and maintaining complex production applications
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, reusable components, and state management
- Experience with GitLab and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with or good understanding of Microsoft Azure
- Strong focus on code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proactive, collaborative, creative, and customer-focused approach
- Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have:

- Experience working with business-critical retail, e-commerce, or marketing platforms
- Experience with data-intensive frontend applications
- Understanding of distributed systems and API-based integrations
- Experience collaborating closely with UX Designers and business stakeholders
- Experience working in cloud-based application environments
