Within our Willis Neuron Operations Team , we are setting out to revolutionize the way the global Insurance market conducts its business today, to create more efficient ways of working and a better solution to placing risk, reducing costs and transforming the way we operate in the broker- insurer value chain. WTW has a unique opportunity to deliver a service to the market that improves time and cost efficiency, revenue generation and accessibility to new markets across the value chain for both insurers and brokers. We will deliver this by building digital journeys that;

- Optimise placement of risk
- Provide the opportunity to access new markets and capital
- Utilise data to understand and influence competitive pricing
- Leverage the full suite of capabilities within WTW
- Provide a service that delivers connectivity for WTW brokers to insurers as well leverage the opportunity within the market through many to many connectivity (brokers and insurers)

Neuron is a business within WTW looking to establish a new way of Digital Trading within the Global Insurance Industry, and this role offers a great opportunity for a talented Business and Governance Manager looking to play a key role in scaling the Neuron operation as it grows its client base in the UK and the USA. This role is about making impact and driving collaboration across the organisation to ensure we are executing against our ambitious strategy, whilst operating within a regulated entity.

Willis Neuron is seeking a dynamic and versatile Business and Portfolio Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives on variety and is eager to engage in a wide range of projects. The Business and Portfolio Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and driving governance, controls, and advising on Company Secretary (CoSec) related items, as well as leading committee secretarial administration. You will be accountable for:

Governance and Controls:

- Support with the development, implementation, and maintaining governance frameworks and controls to ensure project alignment with organisational objectives.
- Monitor compliance with governance standards and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.
- Support with development and implementation of Neuron specific policies.
- Provide advice on Company Secretary related matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of corporate documents, including board resolutions and minutes.
- Lead the administration of various committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing minutes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up on action items from committee meetings.
- Support committee chairs in the effective management of committee activities.

CoSec Advisory:

- Provide advice on Company Secretary related matters, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of corporate documents, including board resolutions and minutes.

Committee Secretarial Administration:

- Lead the administration of various committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and distributing minutes.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and follow-up on action items from committee meetings.
- Support committee chairs in the effective management of committee activities.

Project Management Support:

- Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.
- Provide analytical support and insights to drive project performance and delivery.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across project teams.
- Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc projects.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for project-related enquiries and issues.
- Ensure stakeholder needs and expectations are met through effective communication and engagement.

Key Skills and Experience :

- Highly organized and exceptional ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience of successfully establishing operational policies and procedures
- Experience and understanding of managing a governance framework within a regulated environment
- Experience of working with C-Suite / Executive level stakeholders
- Proficient in all relevant MS Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
