1. Onsite User Support
Provide onsite support during teaching hours for students experiencing connectivity issues.
Assist users connecting laptops, MacBooks, smartphones, and tablets to the school's wireless network.
Verify successful authentication and network access for student devices.
Provide first-level troubleshooting for BYOD connectivity issues.
2. Wireless Network Troubleshooting
Investigate wireless access issues affecting student devices.
Verify wireless signal coverage and access point availability in affected classrooms and learning areas.
Troubleshoot SSID connectivity, authentication failures, roaming issues, and DHCP-related problems.
Validate network access policies impacting wireless users.
3. Authentication and Access Verification
Verify network authentication services supporting student access.
Troubleshoot issues related to:
User authentication
Network access control policies
VLAN assignment
DHCP and DNS services
Perform connectivity validation from user device to network services.
4. Classroom Readiness Support
Conduct pre-class network readiness checks.
Verify availability of wireless services in classrooms and teaching venues.
Perform spot checks on network performance before major teaching sessions or examinations.
5. Reporting
Maintain a daily activity and incident log.
Provide a summary report at the end of the engagement including:
Number of incidents handled
Incident categorization
Root cause findings
Recommendations for service improvement
Network observations and risks identified
