Fitch Ratings’ Global Rating Services team is seeking an Operations Associate to join the group in our Jakarta office.

About the Team
Fitch Ratings Operations is focused on developing an efficient operating environment for analytical teams by bringing consistency and standardisation to all operational aspects of the rating process.
This role requires collaboration with analytical teams, operational teams, IT squads, and other stakeholders to ensure that Middle Office workflow tasks, procedures, and applications effectively support business needs and comply with regulatory requirements.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Collaboration & Workflow Support
- Partner with analytical teams, operations teams, and IT squads to ensure workflows are followed accurately and efficiently
- Perform timely operational tasks that support ratings analysts using Fitch’s proprietary systems
- Maintain high standards of data quality and operational accuracy
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver ad hoc requests and special projects
- Support cross-functional initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, procedures, and systems
- Contribute to initiatives that drive standardisation, efficiency, and scalability
Compliance & Risk Awareness
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
- Ensure operational activities comply with internal controls and external regulations
You May be a Good Fit if you have:
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), or 2+ years’ experience in an operational or middle-office role
- Strong attention to detail with logical and analytical thinking
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capability and ability to prioritise tasks
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service delivery
