About this role
About Engagifii:
Engagifii builds technology for associations and other organizations whose work revolves around people, relationships, engagement, and community. Our MEams platform brings membership, events, professional development, communications, revenue, advocacy, and related workflows together in one connected platform.
Work Location: This role is based in our Atlanta office. New employees are expected to work in the office five days per week for at least their first six months. After that period, the role may move to a hybrid schedule of as few as three in-office days per week, at the manager's discretion and based on performance, role requirements, and business needs. You Know Associations. We'll Teach You Engagifii. If you've spent years inside an association, you understand things that are difficult to learn from a software manual: dues and renewals, organizational membership, committees and boards, events, CE, member communications, reporting, volunteer leadership, and the reality that one person may play many roles. Maybe you became the person everyone asked when they couldn't figure out the AMS. Maybe you helped implement a new system, redesigned a workflow, cleaned up questionable data, or explained to a vendor why your association did not work the way they assumed it did. If that sounds familiar, we'd like to talk to you.
The Opportunity: Use what you've learned serving one organization to help many organizations become more successful. You'll guide customers from signed agreement through launch: learn their organization, uncover how processes really work, help determine how Engagifii should be configured, manage implementation, train their team, solve problems, and help them transition successfully. You do not need to have spent your career implementing software. We can teach you Engagifii. We need you to bring association knowledge, curiosity, technology aptitude, organization, empathy, judgment, and ownership.
You May Be Doing Something Like This Today: Membership Director/Manager | Director of Operations | Association Operations Manager | AMS/Database Administrator | Member Services Director | Programs Director | Professional Development Director/Manager | Events Director/Manager | Association Technology Manager | Chapter Relations Professional
What You'll Do: • Lead discovery across membership structures, dues, individuals and organizations, chapters, committees, boards, events, CE/accreditation, communications, billing, permissions, websites, reporting, data, and staff workflows. • Ask why before deciding how. Identify the underlying objective, exceptions, dependencies, and better future-state processes. • Translate association operations into thoughtful Engagifii configuration and learn to configure the platform yourself. • Manage project plans, responsibilities, decisions, risks, deadlines, and multiple concurrent implementations. • Help customers prepare and validate legacy data, coordinate integrations, test the configured system, and prepare for launch. • Train customers around real workflows rather than simply demonstrating screens and buttons. • Recognize whether an issue is configuration, data, training, product, or engineering related and coordinate the right response. • Build trust through responsiveness, empathy, clarity, patience, and strong follow-through.
What We're Looking For: Meaningful experience within an association, membership organization, association management company, nonprofit, or similar organization, plus demonstrated aptitude for technology, project ownership, and customer or member service. • AMS or CRM administrator/power-user experience, or significant responsibility for association technology. • Participation in an AMS implementation, migration, system conversion, major technology project, or process redesign. • Experience across membership, operations, events, professional development, communications, finance, programs, or related functions. • Experience managing vendors, projects, stakeholders, deadlines, data, or staff training. • A track record of asking good questions, solving ambiguous problems, learning systems quickly, and following through.
The Traits That Matter Most: Curiosity. Empathy. Organization. Ownership. Consultative thinking. Technical curiosity. Teaching ability. Attention to detail. The instinct to say: “Before we decide how to configure that, help me understand why you do it that way today.”
