About this role

The Media, Entertainment and News team within Global Partnerships works with Google's largest Media and News partners to drive business and profitability through Google's platforms, products, and insights. The team focuses on current and future business opportunities for our customers by building trusted-advisor relationships with C-Suite and executives internally and within partners organizations, is deeply knowledgeable about the industry that the partner operates in, and by thinking with an entrepreneurial spirit to help drive new business opportunities and areas of focus for the advertisers, partners, and Google. In the rapidly evolving and complex Connected TV industry (Broadcasters, Programmers, Free Ad Supported TV Apps, Cable Operators, Video Distributors, and News and Information), Google is seeking a CTV Network Packages (CNP) Go-To-Market Seller to help grow our relationships with our most advertising partners by accelerating premium supply acquisition, driving commercial alignment, and working closely with Sellers of LCS, GCS (MMS) teams to drive and capture CTV spend.
In this role, you will be an expert on our CTV supply and advocate the value of third-party inventory as a value-add to YouTube (YT) campaigns.

This is a team based selling environment, where the CTV Account Manager works closely with buyside facing Account Managers, Product Management, Regional Product Lead (RPL) teams and other cross-functional partners to support the sales efforts and day-to-day management across their book of business.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $112000 - $161000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or 2 years with advanced degree.

- Experience in the consumer electronics, auto, OEMs, telecom, e-mommerce/retail, apps, ads, gaming, or technology industries.

- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across multiple levels of management.

- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

- MBA or Master's degree in a related field.

- 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or a similar role.

- Experience leading and closing complex partnership agreements, including experience with negotiation, structuring, and implementation.

- Experience working cross-functionally and managing projects with multiple stakeholders in a changing environment.

- Strong problem-solving and financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess partnership opportunities and develop business cases.

- Excellent communication and people management skills, with the ability to build consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Propel go-to-market (GTM) strategy by encompassing 1:1 pitches, scalable offerings, and train-the-trainer programs, and partner with internal teams and support customer pitches to identify growth opportunities and drive business.

- Grow the CTV Network Package program across multiple functions, managing cross-functional stakeholders effectively, participating in pipeline meetings, and tracking and reporting on results.

- Drive thought leader on product activation. Build strong internal and external relationships to stay informed and share best practices with the ads ecosystem.

- Contribute to the growth and direction of CNP advertisers, products, and services. Act as a CNP expert, providing specialized support through advertiser activation.

- Build and maintain business relationships through close collaboration with advertiser account owners, Director+ on a daily basis, including frequent meetings with teams to present opportunities, create sales collateral and training materials, and manage pipeline.
