Class 1 ADR Driver

Here at GXO Logistics , we are looking for a full-time, permanent Class 1 ADR Driver to join our delivery based at Manchester Fuel Terminal , supporting our customer, EnergyLink.

You’ll be working on an ‘any 4 out of 7’ pattern, including days/nights/weekend and contracted to work 48 hours per week and flexible on start times.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

- Carry out loading, unloading, and deliveries without supervision, following ACOP/UKPIA guidance and local procedures

- Ensure the care, security, and safe handling of the vehicle, equipment, and fuel load at all times and accept that recording devices maybe installed in all vehicles

- Work shifts as required, handle multiple hoses/arms where permitted, and perform unassisted deliveries

- Follow company policies (including driver assessments and recording devices) and complete required training (DCPC, PDP, added-value activities)

What you need to succeed at GXO:

- A valid LGV License, C+E and ADR class 3 in road tankers, PDP & DCPD

- Must have at least 2 years’ experience in working in the UK downstream oil industry

- Hands-on experience in forecourt and bulk deliveries is essential

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Appreciation of confidentiality and discretion
