Role

The role of a Executive CSR is to manage Hero MotoCorp’s social good efforts and ethical practices while ensuring adherence to CSR laws, playing a key role in aligning business strategies with sustainability and social responsibility to boost the company's image and stakeholder relations.

Execute CSR projects within defined timeframes and allocated budgets in alignment with the overall business strategy in the assigned states
Drive campaigns to engage employee for volunteering in CSR activities

A Day in the life

Developing & Implementing CSR projects & programs

• Support design and implementation of CSR projects aligned with approved CSR strategy and annual plans
• Coordinate with implementation partners for timely delivery of project activities
• Support preparation/review of project proposals, budgets, work plans and SoWs
• Track project milestones, deliverables and expenditure
• Identify implementation issues and facilitate timely resolution
Ensuring statutory & financial CSR Compliance

• Ensure projects are implemented in accordance with approved proposals, SoWs and internal processes
• Support compliance with Companies Act CSR requirements and applicable internal policies
• Coordinate due diligence, legal vetting, documentation and approvals for CSR projects
• Ensure appropriate utilisation and documentation of CSR funds
• Support closure of audit/compliance observations
Managing budgets & resources allocated for CSR Activities

• Monitor project budgets and expenditure against approved allocations
• Ensure timely processing and verification of invoices, utilisation certificates and supporting documents
• Track committed, utilised and balance CSR budgets
• Flag budget variances and financial risks to the reporting manager
• Support effective utilisation of approved CSR funds
Building partnerships with internal & external stakeholders for effective implementation

• Coordinate with NGOs, implementation agencies, government departments, institutions and other partners
• Support identification and assessment of credible implementation partners
• Maintain regular communication and follow-up with project stakeholders
• Build effective working relationships to facilitate smooth implementation
• Support employee engagement and volunteering initiatives, wherever applicable
Monitoring & Reporting of Impact Programs

• Track project outputs, outcomes and key milestones against approved indicators
• Conduct/coordinate field visits and periodic programme reviews
• Identify implementation gaps and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare periodic project updates, dashboards and management reports
• Support impact assessments, third-party monitoring and evaluation exercises

Academic Qualification & Experience

• MBA/Masters’ with a focus on Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainability, or Non-Profit Management or related fields.
• Additional certifications or diplomas in CSR, sustainability, ethical business practices, or related areas
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
