This is an onsite position, requiring the team member to be onsite 5 days a week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Execution of local optimization projects related to raw materials and packaging materials
- Representation of local interests in global projects
- Participation in / leadership of meetings with suppliers
- Preparation for and support of customer and ISO audits
- Implementation of actions resulting from audit processes with internal and external stakeholders
- Analysis and restructuring of internal workflows from a lean management perspective
- Collaboration with other departments to drive quality initiatives, systems, and methods to achieve quality objectives
- Responsible for the system-based management of approved suppliers, including approval / blocking of local suppliers
- Collection, analysis, evaluation, and trending of quality-relevant metrics for other departments
- Preparation of complaints and quality notifications in English and German
- Support for actions within the scope of Out-Of-Specification (OOS) cases related to raw materials and packaging materials, including preparation of necessary reports and documentation
- Execution, documentation, evaluation, and follow-up of actions resulting from internal quality audits
- Preparation of deviations, OOS cases, and process changes, including trend analysis and initiation of improvement measures in the area of raw materials and packaging materials
Education
- Successfully completed degree in a technical field
- Training in lean management and/or project management is desirable
Work Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in quality management, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector or with GMP experience
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Solid knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of statistical methods and SAP is desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Very strong assertiveness and conflict management skills
License and Certifications
- Certification as a Quality Management Representative (QMR) is desirable, or willingness to obtain it
Pay Transparency:
The annual base salary range for this position is €60,016.00 - €76,384.00. Total target compensation is determined using objective and gender-neutral criteria, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, market benchmarks, geographic location, and the scope and responsibilities of the role.
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment. In addition, team members are eligible to participate in the company’s benefits and total rewards programs applicable to their location and employment status.
