People Operations Manager

Job title: People Operations Manager
Responsible to: Interim Head of HR
Based: Hybrid - The Grange, Saunderton, Princes Risborough
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a People Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of our people operations, ensuring effective processes, strong systems and a positive experience throughout the employee lifecycle. You’ll oversee recruitment activity, support managers to recruit great people, and work with colleagues to continuously improve how our people services are delivered.

Key Responsibilities

- Leading the day to day operations of the People and Culture team
- Line management of the People Team Executive
- Oversee employee data management and HR System accuracy (Sage People and payroll interface)
- Support the allocation of team resources to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and projects are managed
- Manage the recruitment process in collaboration with the People Team Executive
- Manage the monthly payroll process with the People Team Executive
- Support the People and Culture team with policies and procedural aspects
for employees
- Drive continuous improvement of people operations, identifying automation
or efficiency opportunities

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Organisational and process improvement skills
- Project management
- Talent attraction and recruitment
- People team experience including HR Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of Excel and PowerBI to create and maintain people dashboards
- Understanding of people related policies and procedures
