Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Spa Therapist to join our wellness team at Constance Ephelia, Seychelles. As a Spa Therapist, you will be at the heart of delivering exceptional spa experiences to our guests, providing bespoke treatments in a luxury resort environment. You will combine technical expertise with genuine care, ensuring every guest leaves feeling rejuvenated and valued. - Deliver a comprehensive range of spa treatments including massage, facials, body therapies, manicures, pedicures, and waxing services in accordance with spa protocols and industry standards
-  Greet all clients with warmth and professionalism, using name recognition and maintaining a welcoming demeanour throughout their spa journey
- Conduct thorough health assessments and consultations with guests prior to treatments, demonstrating discretion and understanding of any necessary precautions
-  Confirm all scheduled treatments with guests before commencing, ensuring their comfort and addressing any specific requirements or concerns
-  Maintain impeccable standards of hygiene, cleanliness and organisation within treatment areas, ensuring all products are stocked, refilled and readily available
- Actively promote spa services, beauty products and hotel offerings to enhance the guest experience and support business objectives
-  Process all payments for treatments and products accurately and promptly, maintaining responsibility for financial transactions
-  Maintain detailed and accurate records of all treatments provided to each client, including products used and outcomes
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all spa treatments, their benefits and outcomes, as well as related products and techniques
-  Provide personalised recommendations to guests based on their individual needs, preferences and feedback
-  Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and support team objectives
- Participate actively in team meetings, training programmes and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
-  Maintain the highest standards of personal grooming and professional appearance in accordance with company standards
-  Ensure strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all client information and interactions
-  Comply with all health, safety, hygiene and fire safety procedures, familiarising yourself with emergency protocols
- Report any accidents, security incidents or near misses promptly to your line manager
-  Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet business needs and guest requirements
-  Support the spa team in achieving business goals and maintaining the organisation's reputation for excellence

Qualifications

- Diploma or certification in beauty therapy, massage therapy, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a Spa Therapist or in a similar spa/wellness role
- Hands-on experience in delivering massage techniques, facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures and waxing services
- Previous experience as a spa therapist or in a similar role within a luxury hospitality setting
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, body treatments, and facial treatments
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the benefits of different spa treatments
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, empathetic, and supportive demeanour
- Ability to customise treatments to meet individual guest needs
- Good time management skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform treatments throughout the day
- Familiarity with spa products and their applications
- Additional certifications in specific spa treatments (desirable)
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
- Willingness to work in a luxury resort setting in the Seychelles
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
