Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

- Monitor the operation and technical condition of machines during production and ensure production continuity in cooperation with department engineers and production personnel.
- Perform tasks related to production equipment and tools supporting manufacturing processes.
- Participate in projects aimed at reducing losses and improving process efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical failures.
- Ensure continuous and uninterrupted production operations.
- Carry out machine and equipment overhauls, repairs, cleaning, and preventive maintenance.
- Perform basic machining and metalworking tasks (drilling, turning, grinding).
- Resolve day-to-day tooling and equipment issues.
- Implement and support process and equipment improvements.

Requirements

- Practical experience with cutting, welding, resistance welding, and related manufacturing technologies.
- Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
- Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and sketches.
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial automation.
- Practical knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies, including 5S, Work Standardization, Kanban System, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Basic command of the English language.
- SEP electrical qualifications up to 1 kV would be an advantage.

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.

Monthly Gross Compensation Range:
zł5,591.70 – zł10,066.70 Per Month
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.
