The firm is looking to recruit a Data Analytics Assistant to join the Data Analytics Hub based in central Liverpool. This team is one of several Hubs within BDO’s rapidly growing Shared Service Centre (SSC). SSC team members work internally within the business providing support to the client facing members of the firm.

The Data Analytics Hub is responsible for delivering our BDO Advantage data analytics tool used to analyse a client’s entire dataset. It runs using Qlikview and provides powerful visualisations which help auditors to understand client transactions and identify outliers. We are a high performing united team with sustained yearly results and have delivered dashboards for over 3,000 BDO clients in the 25/26 financial year, publishing over 3,700 unique deliverables for our audit teams.

In this role, you will manage your own workload to deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timescales while working extensively with BDO Advantage software to create and maintain data visualisation dashboards for client-facing audit teams. You will support audit teams throughout the data extraction process, responding to technical queries and providing detailed feedback on data quality and related procedures. As part of the wider Data Analytics team, you will also collaborate with colleagues and provide support across the team's activities where required.

You’ll be someone with:

- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
- Drive and ambition to work in the field of data analytics
- Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision post probationary period
- Experience in either or audit or finance is advantageous but not essential
- Experience with coding languages is advantageous but not essential
- Overall a successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced team environment, manage a portfolio of multiple projects and express a strong interest in learning new systems and processes.
