Sentara Health is now hiring an IT Director, Clinical Systems in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Education
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
or
- At least 8 years of relevant management experience in lieu of bachelor's degree
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience (Required)
Duties and Responsibilities
- System Management: Oversee electronic health records (EHRs) and other clinical software to make sure they run smoothly.
- Workflow Improvement: Find ways to make daily medical tasks faster and easier using technology.
- Team Leadership: Manage IT staff, data analysts, and system administrators.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all software and data handling meet healthcare laws and privacy rules.
- Vendor and Budget Control: Choose software vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage the department budget
