Why is this role important at Infobip?

As a Quality Engineer in our Growth base, you’ll contribute to the core experience behind Infobip’s customer-facing portal. You’ll be part of Quality Engineering team that testing critical features—from homepage and login flows to user permissions, account creation, and system settings. Our environment values adaptability, collaboration, and the ability to take ownership across backend and frontend challenges. What you’ll do:

- Deliver and maintain scalable tests using technology stack: Cucumber.js for BDD, Playwright for browser automation, JavaScript as the programming language
- Test ideas before starting implementation (point out unclarities in requirements, test the design prototype)

- Understand the impact a new requirement (or any change) can have on the current system (matrix of services and dependencies, identifying critical paths)

- Test implementation and report on the platform/tools (Infobip’s portalapplications and API) and testing state

- Prioritize and report issues with clear “steps to reproduce“ and expected behavior

- Discuss improvements of the platform/tools with a clear business/user value proposition

- Have a basic knowledge and a genuine interest in test automation

- Be able to propose and implement test automation strategies

- Closely collaborate with different roles such as Product Manager, Product Designer, Software Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, etc.

- Gain guidance with continuous, personalized feedback from your dedicated mentor, empowering your personal growth and accelerating your development

What makes you a strong fit:

- You are currently studying software engineering (eg. computer science, mathematics)

- You are a graduate (MA) or final year undergraduate (BA) student

- You have valid student's rights from Studentski centar (can work on student contract)

- You can work minimum 30 hours per week

Nice to have qualifications:

- Experience with Quality Engineering

- Have a GitHub profile with projects to show

- Participated in student projects, Hackatons, workshops or other

- Already participated in some internship programs

- Are fluent in English, speak at a conversational level
