Salary: Starting Salary is £37,563 (Level one) to £40,444 (Level four) per annum (pro-rata for part-time)

About the Role
As Project Support & Compliance Officer, you will provide operational, administrative and compliance support across a range of Home Office programmes, including refugee resettlement, asylum dispersal and community sponsorship schemes.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting project administration, monitoring and reporting activities.
- Coordinating funding claims and data returns to Government departments and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate financial, performance and compliance records.
- Supporting procurement, invoicing and budget monitoring processes.
- Developing and maintaining systems, databases and monitoring tools.
- Ensuring compliance with funding requirements, governance arrangements and GDPR.
- Coordinating accommodation, arrivals and transfers for resettlement programmes.
- Liaising with landlords, housing providers and partner agencies to support service delivery and compliance.
- Producing reports, briefings and performance information for senior managers and stakeholders.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the wider team.
Criteria
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience maintaining accurate financial records, budgets and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of data protection requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to present information clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and partnership-working skills.
- Experience of collaborating with a range of stakeholders and partners to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions.
- Experience and detailed knowledge of Nottingham City Council’s Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable procedures.
- Advanced IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
- Experience of funding claims, monitoring returns or compliance reporting.
- An understanding of housing, health and safety or related legislation would be advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of refugee resettlement schemes regarding policy, legislation and procedures both on a national and local level and provide information and briefing as required.
