The role

As part of our expanding transport infrastructure portfolio, we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professionals for the position of Senior Resident Engineer on a major road and bridge supervision assignment in Georgia. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day site supervision activities, coordinate technical teams, and support the Team Leader in ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and contract compliance.

Suitable applicants will have/be:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Professional registration such as PE, Chartered Engineer (CEng), EUR ING, or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience in road, highway, and transport infrastructure projects.
- At least 8 years of international project experience, preferably across multiple countries.
- Demonstrated experience in the supervision and administration of major highway construction projects, including pavements, earthworks, structures, bridges, and interchanges.
- Previous involvement in projects delivered under FIDIC or similar contract conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead site-based engineering teams and interact with contractors and clients.
- Previous experience on ADB, World Bank, EBRD, AIIB or other MDB-funded infrastructure projects is highly desirable
- Prior experience in Central Asia and/or the Caucasus region is strongly preferred.
- Excellent English communication and report-writing skills.
