Product Leader Delegate (PLD) – Systems Domain

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Product Leader Delegate (PLD) to join the Tech Data Systems Business Operations team .

A transnational department, based in France, UK, Germany, Spain and Bangalore India, responsible for the maintenance documentation for all systems and cabin systems , for the delivery and throughout the life of the aircraft. In this role, you will act as the primary Product Specialist contact for the transnational teams . You will bridge the link between Product Leaders (PLs) and operational authoring lines (Technical Data Engineer - TDE), ensuring accurate implementation of product definitions, technical rules, and long-term innovation strategies.

This role offers a transnational, dynamic and continuously involving scope because the product :  ‘Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM)’ - that you will be responsible for contains the instructions for the on-aircraft maintenance necessary to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft.

Beyond the core Technical Data (TD) responsibilities, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional transversal initiatives and lead future special topics as organizational needs expand.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

1. Product Representation

- Act as the key Product Specialist contact for all authoring lines within the Systems domain for AMM perimeter.
- Ensure smooth, continuous information flow between Product Leaders and local authoring lines across all Local Lines (FR, UK, DE, ES and India).
- Deploy and enforce product definitions and authoring rules network engagement through regular alignment with authoring lines and the broader TD network.

2. Quality, Rules & Governance

- Technical Guidance: Explain, deploy, and ensure application of authoring rules within your perimeter
- Documentation & Strategy: Contribute to creating and updating TD documentation, user guides, and the long-term innovation strategy for Tech Data Products and Services.
- Quality Assurance: Perform sample checks on closed work orders to verify update accuracy and review rejected work orders to validate rejection rationales.

3. Work Order & Operational Management (Large-Scale Topics)

- Oversee the creation of work orders during transversal topic deployments.
- Monitor progress and status tracking alongside Program Business OPS within Program TRMs.

4. Transverse Actions & Evolving Scope

- Take ownership of transverse delegated tasks from Product Leaders, including launching and managing corrective actions for production errors.
- Scalable Scope: Proactively take initiatives within your perimeter and lead additional transverse topics, special projects, or new operational scopes assigned as the role develops.

Required Skills & Profile

- Technical and/or Engineering Expertise: Strong background or high adaptability to grasp complex concepts within the Systems Domain .
- Transverse & International Leadership: Ability to collaborate effectively across multi-site, multi-cultural teams (France, UK, Germany, Spain and India).
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken communication skills to distill technical/product rules into clear support and operational guidelines.
- Autonomy & Initiative: Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of taking ownership of unresolved issues and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Quality & Detail Oriented: Rigorous approach to quality checks, rule enforcement, and process tracking.
- Language: Fluent in English. French, German, or Spanish is a plus.

Grading : Advanced Professional (AP) - UK
