Licensed Station Engineer - London Heathrow

We are expanding our Line Maintenance International (LMI) function and are looking for experienced LMI Engineers to be based at London Heathrow (LHR) .

Your Role:

- The Station Engineer LMI is responsible for certifying and carrying out aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with all applicable standards and relevant approved technical data to optimize aircraft serviceability and support operational schedules.
- Safety & Quality: Ensures that aircraft effectivity is correctly established and that the latest revision of approved maintenance data is referenced prior to use. Performs maintenance activities in compliance with company requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable airport procedures and regulations.
- Cost: Maintains awareness of the Line Maintenance International expenditure budget and ensures the cost-effective utilization of manpower, time, and materials.
- Service: Establishes and effectively maintains aircraft exterior and interior cabin standards in line with the expectations of a leading world-class airline.
- Operational Performance: Maintains awareness of On-Time Performance (OTP) targets set by the VPTO while ensuring the safety of operations by maintaining the airworthiness of assigned aircraft to the highest standards.
- Innovation: Utilizes the latest technologies to support effective and efficient solutions.
- Strategy: Maintains full awareness of Etihad OGSM and the Line and Cabin Maintenance operational strategy.
- Staff Performance: Ensures that competency, capability, development, and training requirements are appropriately actioned and maintained through the effective and timely use of i-Achieve, CPM, i-Learn, Etihad Policies and Procedures, and other appropriate tools.

Qualifications

- Essential: High School Leaving Certificate or university/college qualification. Holder of GCAA license or convertible to GCAA License. Authorization on two Etihad aircraft types (Level 3)
- Essential: A minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, of which at least three years must have been within a Line Maintenance environment.
