THAAD New Product Realization Engineer

Job Description Precision Strike is growing! As a result of significant growth in the munitions business, we are seeking an experienced New Product Realization Engineer to further grow our team and support NRE efforts on the THAAD program in addition to other new program starts within the PGSS portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of SKR-R and Production+ from development to production, ensuring that all deliverables meet customer requirements and business objectives.

This position is a first shift 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off!

Key Responsibilities:
- Process development
- Identification and execution of producibility improvements
- Partners on transition to production support with NPI Engineer (Lead)
- Provides Technical Operations support during the development phase inclusive of non-conformance generation and work plan development
- Provides floor support during development build and test
- Parter with Hardware Engineering to develop and implement new fixturing and tooling
- Supports the development and execution of comprehensive transition to production plans with consideration for AS9145 and proper risk and opportunity identification
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the transition process are properly planned and executed, including product design, testing, validation, and certification to achieve DTUPC targets
This role partners closely with Program, Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to meet the significant ramp rates currently facing our organization and will be a core team member of the Precision Strike Operations team. Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Engineering
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Proven track record of successfully launching products on time, within budget, and to customer requirements
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and control budgets
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles
- Experience implementing AS9145
- Experience with supply chain management and logistics
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and lean manufacturing principle

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
