What You’ll do

As an Insurance Graduate Analyst, you’ll be part of project teams supporting clients across leading insurers, brokers and insurance market participants. Our consultants help deliver end-to-end transformation, from strategy through to implementation, spanning underwriting, claims, digital engineering and AI & data. No two projects are the same, but your work could include:

- Analysing business and claims data, conducting market and regulatory research, and building presentations for a range of stakeholders, including senior client leadership

- Understanding the transformational role and impact of AI across the insurance industry in areas such as distribution, underwriting and claims

- Taking on project management tasks depending on the project, such as organising meetings, tracking actions and risks, and overseeing project plans

- Helping build proposals and materials that win Alpha new work, and generating ideas for how our services evolve

- Projects can range from a few weeks to 18 months, giving you exposure to different types of client relationships and team sizes

- Getting involved in firm-wide initiatives such as recruitment, wellbeing or diversity and inclusion, giving you the chance to build experience beyond client delivery

From the start, you’ll gain hands-on experience and learn how consulting projects are delivered in practice. As your confidence grows, so will your level of responsibility.

The UK insurance team is building fast and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership and wider team as we develop and grow as a practice.

What You Will Learn

All new Analysts take part in our two-week Alpha Analyst Training Programme, designed to give you a strong foundation in:

- Excel and PowerPoint

- Core consulting skills

- Financial and cost modelling

- Stakeholder management

- Producing high-quality client deliverables

- Communication and soft skills

We’ll also fund and support you to complete relevant professional qualifications.

Alongside formal training, you’ll learn every day by working with experienced colleagues and receiving ongoing support and feedback.

Who We’re looking for

We're looking for highly motivated individuals who are excited by problem-solving, consulting, and the opportunity to make an impact from day one. Successful candidates will:

- Be predicted or have achieved, a 2:1 or above, in any degree discipline and from any university

- Be available to start full time in September 2027

- Have a genuine interest in consulting and the insurance industry

- Enjoy solving problems and thinking analytically

- Will be proactive, curious and eager to learn

- Communicate clearly and work well with others

- Be excited by working in a collaborative, high-performing and sociable environment
