Mechanical Assembler

We specialize in four areas including custom machinery, precision fabrication, automated systems for medical device manufacturing, and contract manufacturing.  Keller delivers sophisticated manufacturing solutions for many industries including Engineered Materials, Semiconductors, Robotics, Chemicals, Medical and Life Science, Energy Research, and Industrial Technologies.

We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location.

MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER

Job Summary:
The primary responsibilities of this role will be:

- Building machines to print/Specs.

- Install Machines at customer site – some travel required

- Work alongside teammates to deliver quality product in a timely manner

- Develop methods to improve current processes

- Participate in our continuous improvement program.

- Participate and apply concepts in   lean and six-sigma work teams

- Participate in meetings and promote general job safety.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

- Must be an organized and ambitious person willing to learn and grow within our organization

- Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

- High degree of ownership and willingness to learn

Willing to attend company sponsored training when requried

- High level of problem solving ability – desire to improve current processes

- Mechanical and or Electrical experience preferred

- Understanding of Pneumatics & Electrical schematics

- Blueprint Reading

- Shop Math

- Computer skills Microsoft Programs

Experience and Education:

- Experience Level:  Five years’ Mechanical/Electrical experience preferred (training provided as needed)

- High school graduate or GED required – Trade school or other higher education preferred
