Position Overview
The Manager of Renewals leads and manages a team of Renewals Managers. As a people manager,
you have primary responsibility for renewal execution, the development of your team, thought leadership
on creative and profitable renewal processes and negotiations. You are tasked with coaching and
developing a diverse and respected team that maintains sophisticated renewal practices, underscoring
the Renewals organization as a center of excellence. In addition, you will effectively balance skills,
language proficiency and resource allocation to best support demands.
As the Manager of Renewals, you are responsible for supporting the success of not only your direct
reports, but the success of all employees within the larger team by helping to identify development
opportunities and supporting team members to achieve their goals. You are expected to know about the
members of your extended team and share insights with your peer managers. Look for opportunities to
coach and recognize employees directly and provide real-time feedback so that employees can reflect on
your input immediately.
As the Manager of Renewals you will lead and mentor the team to advance their efficiency in data
validation and renewal execution. You will coach the team on the structuring of complex renewals,
renewals that span multiple business units, customer strategy and negotiation, and navigating internal
relationships to reach agreement amongst stakeholders. You must possess strong negotiation and selling
skills and coach your team to consistently adherence to Renewals best practices to optimize team
performance. The position is aligned and actively collaborates with Sales and regional Leadership to
properly forecast and execute renewals with upsells and cross-sells. In addition, the position is
responsible for maintaining knowledge of regional changes, requirements, and commercial nuances. A
strong ability to collaborate is a must as you’ll partner with, but not limited to, Operations, legal and
finance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide overall strategy for renewal execution within the region through strong executive partnership
- within sales.
- Properly lead, build, and maintain a rolling Renewals forecast quarter over quarter within SFDC.
- Act as the point of escalation for Renewal Commercials internally and externally.
- Facilitate and communicate Renewal practices and processes to regional stake holders and their
- respective teams.
- Analyze and execute on people portfolio strategies in partnership with the Data and Insights team.
- Operational excellence is a must as you lead from the front with accurate forecasting and execution
- within SFDC.

Required Experience & Language Requirements
- Experience in a customer facing role with ability to influence different stakeholders using strong
- relationship and communication skills.
- Commercial negotiation experience with a proven record to meet or exceed renewal revenue goals.
- Ability to work across differing technology platforms.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Communicate clearly both orally and in written form and proven ability to build strong relationships.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent comparable experience
