Legacy Parking is seeking a dependable, motivated, and hands-on Maintenance Porter to help maintain a parking facility in Atlanta. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys staying active, and is committed to keeping facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance & Appearance
- Ensure parking garages and lots are clean, safe, and maintained to company standards.
- Perform daily maintenance tasks including: Cleaning grounds, equipment, and surrounding areas
- Completing safety checks and minor repairs
- Applying paint, sealants, and lubrication as needed
- Removing trash and debris
- Operate maintenance equipment such as blowers, sweepers, and power washers.
- Follow the preventative maintenance schedule provided by the Location Manager.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in log systems.
- Notify management of material or supply needs in a timely manner.
Event Attendant
- Greeting customers and providing our standard of service (uniform, greeting, problem-solving, and farewell)
- Assisting guests throughout the facility, lanes, and parking office
- Issuing tickets and collecting payments
- Directing traffic efficiently and safely
Customer Service
- Represent Legacy Parking with professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- Maintain a positive attitude when interacting with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Assist customers or visitors courteously, ensuring a great parking experience.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, custodial, or general facility operations required.
- Experience using power washers and floor scrubbers preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Dependable with excellent time-management and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift up to 100 lbs as needed.
- Work may include medium to heavy physical activity on a daily basis.
